Visits to Local High Schools

If you are a high school band, choir or orchestra director in the Maryland, D.C. or North Virginia area, you may request a visit to your school by contacting our Music Admissions Office at musicadmissions@umd.edu.

Festivals & Fairs

Representatives from the University of Maryland School of Music visit select music festivals and fairs throughout the year. A representative may be coming to an event near you.

Virtual Performing Arts College Fairs Presented by the Music Admissions Roundtable

University of Maryland School of Music is a member of the Music Admissions Roundtable (MAR), which is a collaboration of music admissions colleagues at North American education institutions and summer programs. We have produced a series of free college fair events. Visit the MAR website for details.

Panel discussions will be available one hour prior to the scheduled fair time.

All events are open to students interested in undergraduate or graduate studies.
